Acceptance of Terms

Services Description
SSH Accounting Solutions provides professional accounting services including:
- Bookkeeping and transaction management
- Payroll processing and employee management
- Tax compliance and filings
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Advisory and consulting services
- Year-end services and special projects
- Technology and cloud integration
Services are customized based on client needs and package selection.
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
- Maintain organized records and provide requested documentation
- Grant necessary access to financial accounts and software
- Respond promptly to requests for information
- Review and approve work product in a timely manner
- Pay invoices according to agreed terms
- Notify us immediately of any errors or concerns
Our Responsibilities
We agree to:
- Provide services with professional competence and care
- Maintain confidentiality of your information
- Comply with applicable professional standards and regulations
- Communicate clearly about scope, fees, and timelines
- Notify you of any conflicts of interest
Fees and Payment
Service Fees
Fees are based on the selected package or project scope as outlined in your service agreement. Monthly packages range from $300-$2,500+ depending on business complexity.
Payment Terms
- Monthly packages: Billed monthly in advance
- Project-based work: Per agreed payment schedule
- Consultation fee: $125 payable at time of booking
- Payment is due within 15 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed
Late Payments
Late payments may incur:
- Late fees of 1.5% per month (18% annually) or the maximum allowed by law
- Suspension of services until account is current
- Collection costs and legal fees if account is sent to collections
Refunds
- Monthly packages: No refunds for partial months; cancel with 30 days notice
- Consultation fees: Non-refundable once scheduled
- Project fees: Refundable only for unperformed work
Scope Limitations
Tax Preparation
We provide bookkeeping and compliance support but do not prepare complete tax returns. Tax return preparation should be coordinated with your CPA or tax professional.
Legal Advice
We do not provide legal advice. Consult an attorney for legal matters.
Investment Advice
We do not provide investment advice or securities recommendations.
Audit Services
We do not perform independent audits. Our services are limited to bookkeeping, compilation, and advisory.
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with professional standards. We will not disclose your information except:
- With your written consent
- As required by law or court order
- To service providers bound by confidentiality agreements
- In response to valid legal process
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for errors resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you
- We are not liable for tax penalties or interest resulting from your failure to timely provide information
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SSH Accounting Solutions from claims arising from:
- Your breach of these terms
- Your provision of false or misleading information
- Your violation of laws or regulations
- Third-party claims related to your business operations
Professional Standards
Our services are performed in accordance with:
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) where applicable
- Professional standards for bookkeeping and accounting services
- IRS regulations and state tax requirements
- Software vendor terms (QuickBooks, etc.)
Software and Technology
Third-Party Software
We use QuickBooks and other third-party platforms. You are responsible for:
- Software subscription fees (unless included in package)
- Compliance with software vendor terms of service
- Maintaining secure login credentials
Data Backup
While we implement backup procedures, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining copies of your financial data.
Termination
By Client
You may terminate services with 30 days written notice. You remain responsible for fees incurred through the notice period.
By Us
We may terminate services immediately if:
- You fail to pay invoices
- You provide false information
- You breach these terms
- We identify a conflict of interest
- Continuation would violate professional standards
Upon Termination
- All outstanding fees become immediately due
- We will provide final reports and return your records
- We will assist with transition to new provider (fees may apply)
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
We encourage communication to resolve disputes. Contact us at info@sshaccounting.com to discuss concerns.
Mediation
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be submitted to mediation before litigation.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Texas law. Any litigation will be filed in Harris County, Texas.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Entire Agreement
These terms, along with your service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SSH Accounting Solutions.
